X Factor's Louis Walsh has suggested he is ready to quit the ITV show after eight years on the judging panel.
The Irishman said in an interview with Dannii Minogue for the MyDaily website that the current series of the programme is "no fun", while also describing his fellow judges as "crazy people".
He also told Minogue, a former judge on the Saturday night show herself, that working on The X Factor "takes over your life".
Asked whether he could leave the programme, the 59-year-old added: "It's 50/50. You only live once and I want my life."
Walsh joined X Factor when it started in 2004, judging performers alongside Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne. He has mentored acts such as JLS, Jedward and Mary Byrne.
The show was thrown into chaos this week by the controversy surrounding teenage singer Frankie Cocozza, who was axed amid rumours he bragged about using cocaine.
Cocozza's sudden departure has meant eliminated contenders James Michael, Amelia Lily, 2 Shoes and Jonjo Kerr will be given another chance to impress the judges and the public.
